When I first placed an order with ahappydeal.com / Davis Micro / Everbuying.com Scheng Technology, I was seduced by their very good prices advertised on their web site.

A friend said that he had read on forums that they are very dodgy. I said that most of these companies seem a bit dodgy, but if we can do business, it could be profitable.

I now know that it was a huge mistake trying to do business with them. I haven't mentioned in the email exchange below the problems with products not being as described, most products having noticeable defects because it is hard enough just getting the goods or you rmoney back from them in the first place!

My advice: Stay well clear of Scheng Technology! If buying from China, always use Escrow, and never release the funds until all the products are tested, and you are sure you are happy with them. Never use T/T as most companies seem to say thanks very much, and not send the goods... unless you have the money in Escrow, or unless you can cause them so much trouble, it is cheaper for them to deliver.

In case you are like how I was, naive and presuming honour with business partners, read the following email exchange. The first emails are at the bottom. The most recent at the top. This is for one order. Paid on 3rd Spetember. Today is 7th october. The products still have not been dispatched. They were promised to be dispatched by express parcel delivery on 6th September. It's all stalling tactics and lies. They even give tracking numbers for packages that will never be delivered. - On both my mobile phone order and tablet order still to be delivered, they provided a tracking number for a package which went to Chinese customs and back to them again. I can only imagine this is deliberate stalling.

If paying Paypal, the customer doesn't have to trust Davis Micro, so
Davis Micro has no choice to act honourably.

I am thinking that it is very hard to do business with Chinese
companies. No company wants to provide all three quality, price, speed
but every company promises all three, always.

Because of this, so many companies all the time are trying to form
trading partnerships. So many would--be honourable trading partners
become disillusioned, it leaves only the rogues.

After a very, very long wait, and after many business opportunities
came and went, and after much patience, I was after a very very long
time given a tracking number of EE960525645CN . I have been tracking
the parcel with a great deal of patience. It now appears the parcel
has been delivered somewhere in CHINA!

I have now been given a reference number EE960527377CN. This doesn't
show up on the EMS tracking system. This reference number is for the
same order.

I have been hoping to start a longer term business relationship, and
have been looking forward to the shipment of another order:

I can buy quad core tablets for under US$100 but I am paying extra in the hope I won't have any returns and that everything will be as hoped for 100% and that I won't be wasting time like with other suppliers. Given these are branded, I expect they will be 100% QC.

Please also check weight of product as I am sure the packages don't weigh 1.6Kg.
